Innovations that serve customer needs
At AP Sensing we believe that innovations should serve customer needs, like top quality, ultra-reliable performance, and a long product life. Our 25-year heritage as the world leader in optical test (from Agilent and Hewlett Packard), our numerous technology patents, and our passion for customer satisfaction are your guarantees for success.
Extremely solid instrument design
Unparalleled dependability and longevity: Semiconductor laser life 60 years, switch is tested for 100 million cycles or 63 years, overall system MTBF 33 years.
Superior OTDR technology
Much less sensitive to discontinuities along the sensor (splices, connectors, bending) for more accurate temperature readings.
Our fire detection solutions are ultra-fast and reliable, and continue monitoring regardless of extreme heat and rapidly-spreading smoke. Impervious to dirt, dust, and corrosive atmospheres. With the industry's most complete set of certifications, including ATEX down to Zone 0, alarm software integrated with your SCADA system, and an 8 km reach per DTS device, you have a state of the art fire monitoring solution to protect your assets.
For MV and HV power networks, cascading our DTS data warehouse with DTS devices gives you virtually unlimited reach. Feeding temperature data into the RTTR engine gives your operators continuous access to tolerable load adjustments, even in peak or emergency situations.
Our innovations for geothermic applications led to the development of a dedicated DTS solution: the AP Sensing GeoDTS. With EGRT (Enhanced Geothermal Response Test) you'll know the temperature along the heat exchange pipes at any point and at any time.
We listen to our customers and strive to continuously improve, based on their feedback.
