Your New Career
As part of AP Sensing, you will immerse yourself in a fascinating world: Together we take measurement technology to the limits of physics. We use fiber optic cables as sensors and build measuring devices and software that measure temperatures and acoustic signals along the fiber with meter precision.
We are seeking a motivated engineer to join our team as Production Engineer / Computer Scientist, initially for a two-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment thereafter.
Your Responsibilities
As part of the New Production Introduction (NPI) process, you will support the transition from complex fiber optic measurement systems to series production and design, create, and test the following:
- Routines for module testing
- System tests
- Scripts for production software
- Calibration routines
You will also create and review work instructions and support production staff during the production start-up phase.
Your Profile
- Degree in computer science (M.Sc., B.Sc. or technician specializing in computer science) or electrical engineering with very good software skills.
- Very good programming skills (Python, C/C++)
- Hardware-related programming skills and understanding of hardware, digital interfaces, and bus systems
- In-depth knowledge of Linux
- Good German and English skills (level C2/C1)
