From Mount Mulanje to Wof Washa: Continuing Our Commitment to Sustainable Impact

Forest Landscape in Malawi

Since 2019, AP Sensing has supported forest landscape restoration in the Mount Mulanje region of Malawi through our partnership with WeForest. Over this period, more than 323 hectares have been restored and an estimated 414,453 trees grown.

This work has helped stabilise soils, protect water resources and support local livelihoods in a landscape facing significant environmental pressure.

Expanding Our Impact: Supporting Wof Washa, Ethiopia

Building on this foundation, we are now extending our support to the Wof Washa project in Ethiopia. Wof Washa is a biodiverse Afromontane forest in the Ethiopian highlands, critical for water regulation, climate stability and biodiversity conservation.

The project combines ecological restoration with community engagement, strengthening local forest governance and promoting sustainable livelihood alternatives that reduce pressure on natural resources.

By continuing our partnership with WeForest, AP Sensing reinforces its commitment to long-term environmental responsibility and measurable impact beyond our core operations.
