AP Sensing Continues its Tradition of Giving with 2024 Christmas Donation

We are delighted to announce our annual Christmas donation for 2024, reinforcing AP Sensing’s commitment to social responsibility and making a positive impact in the world. Building on the success of previous years where our Christmas donations supported various causes globally, the focus for 2024 is on providing aid to the people of Ukraine through a collaboration with the renowned humanitarian organization CARE.

Providing Emergency Aid for the People of Ukraine

After more than two years of conflict, the situation in Ukraine remains critical. The war has damaged or destroyed vital infrastructure, including electricity and water supplies, leaving millions in fear for their safety and struggling to meet basic needs. Approximately 6.2 million Ukrainians have fled from war-torn areas since the conflict began, seeking refuge across Europe. Additionally, 5.1 million people remain internally displaced within Ukraine. In response to this humanitarian crisis, AP Sensing has chosen to support CARE's project in Ukraine with our Christmas donation this year.

Since the outbreak of the war, CARE has been providing essential aid to those affected in collaboration with their partner organizations. CARE's dedicated teams work around the clock to ensure that the vulnerable populations receive the support they desperately need. They continue to deliver lifesaving assistance, including clean drinking water, hygiene kits, food, and medical care. Their efforts have reached over 800,000 people who are still in the hardest-hit areas, including families forced to flee their homes and suffering from trauma.

CARE is especially concerned about vulnerable groups, who often become targets of exploitation and abuse, particularly the safety of women and girls, who face heightened risks of gender-based violence in conflict situations. Pregnant and breastfeeding women in war-affected areas have limited access to crucial health services, including prenatal and postnatal care, as well as safe childbirth facilities.

Together with its partner organization, CARE is transporting essential items like diapers, sleeping bags, and mats into Ukraine. CARE has already supported over 312,000 people with hygiene kits and medical care. Along with this, CARE's focus is on unaccompanied children and vulnerable groups, such as pregnant and breastfeeding women. CARE continues its unwavering commitment to helping the people of Ukraine and has so far supported over 500,000 people with relief supplies and food packages.
