Recently selected for various prestigious projects in the MEA region such as Riyadh Metro, Doha Metro and Duqm Refinery, one of AP Sensing’s key success factors includes a market-leading set of global tests and certifications. For the AP Sensing N4387B Linear Heat Series, for example, certifications include VdS EN 54-22, UL521, ULC S530, FM 3210, ATEX II (1) GD M2, KFI, CCC, and SIL2. Our solution for Linear Heat Detection provides the industry's lowest failure rate and highest reliability; AP Sensing’s local presence and quick project support in the MEA region enables trust and approval from various local authorities and defence services.

Our N4387B Linear Heat Series is completely certified for 1, 2 and 4 channels, with an industry-leading variety of possible configurations for your infrastructure. Our solution is certified in ATEX / IECEx explosive environments and operates safely even in the case of a fiber break. The Linear Heat Series is comprised of state-of-the-art technology, with a long MTBF and Laser Class 1M. The system can be rack mounted as well as wall mounted with an IP66 enclosure. In conclusion, AP Sensing’s Linear Heat series offers maximum system flexibility in terms of configuration and integration alongside the highest set of certifications.

About Linear Heat Detection (LHD)

AP Sensing’s solution for heat and fire detection utilizes DTS technology to quickly detect hot spots and track the size and direction of a spreading fire, regardless of air currents. The system can withstand temperatures up to 750 °C without losing monitoring capabilities (IEC 60331-25). The use of our N4387B Series is not only limited to applications such as tunnels, cable trays, or hangars, but it has also been widely used in industrial applications such as tank farms, conveyor belts, refineries, and power plants. It is immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and designed for operation in industrial environments.
