DAS For Water Transmission Pipelines in the Middle East
AP Sensing is monitoring several ongoing projects in a major program of pipeline schemes planned to transport potable water from new desalination plants across Saudi Arabia. Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) is a necessity for these large water transmission pipelines in order to detect third party intrusion (TPI) events or construction activities, as well as to provide leak detection.

AP Sensing Invests in New Tree Planting Initiative
AP Sensing is excited to announce our partnership with the NGO WeForest!Starting in the last quarter of 2019, AP Sensing began planting 100 trees for every fiber optic sensing interrogator (DAS/DTS/DVS) unit sold, plus additional trees to assist in offsetting the environmental impact of our business travels. This stems out of a desire to take concrete action in the area of climate change, C02 emission reduction, environmental protection and social impact.
