Each year during the holiday season, AP Sensing supports a humanitarian initiative. For Christmas 2025, we are donating to CARE’s emergency response in Ukraine, where millions of people continue to struggle with the consequences of ongoing conflict and another harsh winter.
More than 12 million people in Ukraine rely on humanitarian assistance, including families who have lost their homes, access to basic services, or the ability to heat their living spaces during freezing temperatures. CARE and its local partners have already reached more than 1.5 million people with life-saving aid, and the needs continue to grow as infrastructure is damaged and winter conditions worsen.
What Our Donation Supports
CARE focuses on winterization, safe shelter, medical support, and psychosocial assistance, prioritizing women, children, older people, and families in frontline regions. With AP Sensing’s contribution, CARE is able to expand efforts such as:
Emergency Winter Assistance
In many regions, damaged power and heating systems leave families facing life-threatening cold. CARE provides essential equipment including electric heaters, sleeping bags and blankets, power banks and flashlights as well as portable gas stoves and thermoses.
Safe and Dignified Shelter
Continuous shelling has destroyed windows, roofs, and doors across towns. CARE repairs homes, replaces broken windows, and restores insulation so families have safe places to sleep.
Medical and Psychosocial Support
CARE strengthens hospitals and clinics with medical equipment and supplies, and provides psychosocial counseling for families coping with trauma, displacement, and loss, especially women and survivors of violence.
Essential Supplies and Clean Water
CARE distributes hygiene kits, kitchen sets, and water where infrastructure has been destroyed or contaminated.
